In August, the City of Owen Sound was the backdrop for the best fastball the country. For 7 days, teams from across the country competed to decide, who was the best....and when the last out was made, the Scarborough Wolverines, were crowned the 2008 Canadian Jr. Men's Fastball Champions.
The Silver medal was won by the Elmira Advanced Millwright Jrs, and the host team, the Owen Sound Volkswagen Jr. Selects, received the bronze.
